"I am very proud of our guys as they improved eight shots on a good round yesterday," said Head Coach Brian Farrer. "Everyone contributed and it was a great opening tournament to the year. Finishing two shots out of second place and just five out of first lets us know that every tee shot and each putt counts. It's great to be paired with the top teams in Division III. Today's round of 292 was low-round of the day, and tied low round for tournament."
The Vikings play at the Fall NCAA Preview on Sept. 22 and 23. The event is held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
