Men's Basketball Falls to High-Flying Colonels 95-66

DANVILLE, Ky. — Caleb Johnson led with 13 points, but the Centre Colonels took down the Berry Vikings 95-66 on Friday night behind a relentless attack from beyond the arc.

Centre shot 50% (15-for-30) from three-point range including making 12 of their first 16 attempts from beyond the arc. The Colonels snagged 55 rebounds to Berry’s 45 and dished out 21 assists compared to 9 for the Vikings.

Alton McCloud contributed 7 points and 4 steals for the Vikings, while Jake Birdsong chipped in 11 points off the bench. The SAA-leading Colonels improved to 15-7 overall and 10-2 in league play. The Vikings fell to 7-16 overall and 2-10 in league play.
