LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Vikings set a program record for points scored with a 52-37 win over the LaGrange Panthers. The Vikings improved to 2-0 to start the season for the first time in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Vikings led 24-9 at the half after receiving touchdowns by receivers Chris Lilly and Trey Ciresi. Kicker Mitchell Blanchard added a field goal in the first half as well.
  • The Vikings traded blows with the Panthers in the second half as both squads scored 28 second-half points
  • Of the eight completions from quarterbacks Tate Adcock and Slade Dale, five were touchdowns.
  • The Vikings racked up 438 yards of total offense in the game.
