MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Berry softball head coach Meredith Mills has announced Tori Exel as the next assistant coach of the program.

Exel comes to Georgia after spending the previous year as an assistant coach at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. During her lone season with the Falcons, she helped Bentley navigate a 53-game schedule and contributed to all aspects of the program, including player development, hitting, fielding, practice planning and game preparation. 

Prior to beginning her coaching career, Exel was a four-year standout at Husson University from 2022–2025. During her playing career, she earned NFCA All-Region First Team honors, was a two-time North Atlantic Conference (NAC) selection, and was a two-time Maine College Baseball & Softball Association selection. In 2024, she set the Husson single-season record with 19 doubles, and was also a key member of four NAC Championship teams during her career.

Exel earned her bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Husson University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Administration at Boston College and is expected to graduate in December 2026.
