Women's Track and Field Showcases Talent at Victor Icebreaker Duals

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - 22 colleges competed in the Victor Icebreaker Duals, including SAA rivals, Oglethorpe, Maryville and Sewanee.  DII programs, Shorter, Montevallo, UT-Southern, and Emmanuel also opened their seasons at Mount Berry.

Head Coach Luke Syverson said "Overall was a great meet and good start to the outdoor season. Windy conditions and unusually high temps in the mid-80's helped in some events but were a challenge in others.  It is always a challenge to compete the weekend after the emotional and physical investment put into the conference championships but was proud of how our team hosted the meet and came together to compete at the same time."

Highlights/Results

The women won both their dual meet battles with Oglethorpe (114-17) and Maryville (107-33).
