Egure is now a three time shot put champion while Jones placed third with a new indoor personal record with a clutch throw in the finals.
Pine won the pole vault after placing fourth last year behind two teammates and broke the SAA conference record with a 3.40m vault. The previous record was 3.37m by Berry's Madeline Hubert. Three other vaulters also cleared 3.40 to tie the record including Ray who finished tied for third.
Ray placed 6th in the triple jump with a 10.91m jump on her last attempt to break the freshman record and move to number two all time in Berry history.
Freshman
Reese Beckner took fourth in the finals of the 60m after breaking the school record yesterday in prelims while having the fastest time. The previous record was held by her teammate Murdock who broke her own school record in the Long Jump to place fourth with a 5.41m on Friday.
Ayers's runner up finish in the 3000m with a time of 10:15.14 was a new lifetime PR and was faster than the previous SAA conference meet record and the Centre facility record. Unadjusted for a flat track, it is the third fastest time by a Berry Viking. The converted time is a 10:09.92 which would be faster than Shane Harris's school record from the 2000 NAIA National Championships which was run on a banked track. Murdock's runner up finish time in the 400m of 59.38 when converted for a banked track comes down to a 58.61, faster than her 59.11 record run earlier this season.
