MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Viking's historic season continues to bring in accolades both on the field and in the classroom, with eight Vikings being named to the CSC Academic All-District team.
A host of big-time on-field contributors round out this year's honorees, including starting quarterback Christian Lewis. Three of his most trusted men on the line of scrimmage, Riley Stevens, McCormack Langford, and tight end Walker Williams, also made the cut. Do-it-all wide receiver Nate Lyons also excelled in the classroom to make Academic All-District this season.
The defensive side of the ball also saw three members earn their way to CSC Academic All-District. Hard-hitting linebacker Dreshawn Stevens, ball-hawking safety Jack Murray, and standout defensive end Ben Brookshire, all were exemplary of what it means to be a scholar athlete this season as well.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
