DANVILLE, Ky. - The Berry College swim team continued their season with an impressive performance on the road at the Speedo Centre Mid Season Invite. The men finished 4th out of 12 teams while the women finished 6th out of 12 teams. The Vikings started day one with 46 season best times and 14 career best times and finished the meet strong with more great performances. Nick Fonzo led the men finishing 4th in the 100 Back, 5th in the 200 Back, 3rd in the 100 Fly and 7th in the 200 IM. Fonzo also earned a b cut in the 100 Back in the prelims with a season best 49.04.

The Women were led by Campbell Cummins who placed 6th in the 100 Free, 4th in the 200 Free, 7th in the 500 Free and 8th in the 100 Back. Ashley Young also brought home the only podium finish for the Vikings as she finished runner up in the 100 IM with a personal best 1:00.71 to set a new school record.
