Women's Swim Adds Eight

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head swim coach Zach Healy has announced that there will be eight new swimmers competing in the blue and white this coming season.

Campbell Cummins 

Campbell makes her way to Berry via a 70-mile drive down the I-75 from her hometown of Alpharetta, Georgia. She is the daughter of Mandie and Michael Cummins. Campbell graduated from Mount Pisgah High School, where she holds multiple school records in the 100 fly, 500 free, 200 free relay, and the 400 free relay. She also won Most Valuable Swimmer in 2022 and 2025 and rounded out her accomplishments by winning the 800 Free Relay State Championship in 2024. Academically, Cummins was a member of the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.  She also earned the Georgia Certificate of Merit, was an AP Scholar, and earned the Senior Class Citizenship Award. 

Hannah Burke 

Hannah becomes a Viking via a 100-mile drive from her hometown of Griffin, Georgia. Sge graduated from Spaulding High School, where she made the A/B honor roll and earned her way into the National Honor Society. During her time at Berry, she will study exercise science. 

Emmy Mims 

Mims is from just over 50 miles southeast of Mount Berry in Woodstock, Georgia. She is the daughter of Jon and Gillian Mims. Emmy graduated from Woodstock High School, where she earned her way to the state championship multiple times and won the Region 66A 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard freestyle relay. Academically, Emmy shined by earning her way into the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta Club, and the Elves Club in her time as a Wolverine. Mims also was awarded the Georgia Certificate of Merit and the Certificate of Academic Excellence, while graduating from Woodstock with honors. Emmy plans to major in finance.  

Addi Shaffer 

Shaffer travels nearly 100 miles northwest of her hometown of Grayson, Georgia, to become a Viking. Addison graduated from Brookwood High School, where she led the Broncos to a total of four Gwinnett County Championships, a 7A State Championship in 2024, and a 6A State Title in 2025. In the classroom, Shaffer was involved with the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars, all while graduating with honors as an AP Scholar. Addison will be majoring in biology. 


GG Brackett 

GG is from nearby Dalton, Georgia, and she plans to major in nursing while at Berry. She graduated from Dalton High School, where she finished in the top 12 in the 200 free and 100 free races in 2024 and 2025. Academically, she was inducted into the National Honor Society and graduated with honors. Brackett also earned the Culinary Award.  

Katelyn Fraley 

Katelyn makes the trek to become a Viking from nearly 800 miles away from her hometown, Sugar Land, Texas. She is the daughter of Jonathan and Carrie Fraley and has a brother named Aidan. Fraley graduated from Clements High School, where she qualified for Regionals in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Katelyn also was on the water polo team at Clements. In the classroom, she graduated Suma Cum Laude with academic excellence. Fraley plans to major in chemistry during her time as a Viking.  


Sofie McLean 

Sofie hails from Reno, Nevada, and attended Bishop Manogue Catholic. 


Madison Martin

Madison is from Powder Springs, Georgia, and plans to major in psychology in her time as a Viking.
