AUBURN, Ala. - The Vikings started the new year with a win as the High Point Team at Auburn University, besting 7 other teams including 2^nd and 3^rd place University of Georgia and host Auburn University.

Fences Results:

-Emily Sudderth and Meaghan Kursman both placed 2^nd in their section of Open fences.

-Ellie Weinreb claimed 4^th place in Open fences.

- Shelby Williams took an impressive 3^rd place in Intermediate fences.

-Grace Bishop finished 4^th in Limit fences.

Flat Results:

-In Open flat, Weinreb and Kursman took 1^st and 2^nd place, respectively, and Sudderth claimed 5th.

-Williams held 5^th place in Intermediate flat.

-In Limit flat, Berry took 2^nd through 4^th with finishes by Bishop, Fiona Albertson and Rette Solomon (who also qualified for Regionals).

-Elissa Homer was the high finisher with a 1^st place victory in Novice flat.

-The Vikings finished strong as Axa Stevens took the 1^st place ribbon in Introductory flat, clinching the victory for the team.

The Vikings will be back in action at home on February 10-11, hosting a hunt seat show on the 10^th, and a double header western event on the 11^th.
