Every player in Berry's starting lineup scored in double figures as the Lady Vikings defeated Spelman 80-59 Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.
Brittany Coughlan and Alexa Evans scored 18 points apiece to lead Berry, which improved to 6-8 overall with the victory. Coughlan just missed a double-double, pulling down a team high nine rebounds. Evans grabbed seven boards.
Carol Lampley, Holly Compton and Kelly Hastings joined Coughlan and Evans in double figures. Lampley scored 13 points, Compton added 12 points to go with five assists and five steals, and Hastings filled up the stat sheet with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.
Amanda Alexander led the Jaguars with a game high 21 points. Jessica Reagans scored 16 points and Brittney Johnson hauled down a game high 13 rebounds for Spelman, which dropped to 1-7 overall.
The Lady Vikings are scheduled to return to action Jan. 19 at LaGrange.
